Royal Mail workers have voted for national strike action in a long running dispute over jobs and pay. Over 76 per cent of workers balloted voted for the action which will mean a series of national strikes. The move is likely to mean that millions of letters and parcels will not be delivered in the run up to Christmas. Strike dates have not yet been announced but the union is required to give seven days notice of any strike action. PC2Paper will continue to update our customers on the progress of the dispute, however, customers should be aware that during strike action there will be considerable delays to all mail sent from the UK printing station.
