Royal Mail have advised that not all mail was processed to schedule at several of its Mail Processing Cnetres yesterday. The following areas are affected:

  • Croydon Mail Centre: Some mail posted on Monday for delivery in the BR, CR, SE and SM postcode areas may be delivered later than expected.
  • Medway Mail Centre: Some mail posted on Monday for delivery in the CT, DA, ME and TN postcode areas may be delivered later than expected.
  • London Central Mail Centre: Some mail posted on Monday in the EC, N, W1 and WC postcode areas, due for delivery today to addresses across the rest of the UK.

Customers should be aware that our outgoing mail may be affected by this, as all of our mail has to pass through the Medway Processing Centre.

In addition to the above there are currently delivery delays in the following areas due to local issues such as COVID-related self-isolation, high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors. The following areas are affected:

  • Didcot DO (OX11)
  • Grays DO (RM16, RM17, RM18, RM19 and RM20)
  • Stevenage DO (SG1, SG2 and SG3)
