Royal Mail have advised that not all mail was processed yesterday at its Chester Mail Processing Centre. This is likely to cause delays in the CH, LL and SY postcode areas.

There are currently delays to deliveries in some areas due to local issues such as COVID-related self isolation, high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors. The following postcode areas are currently affected:

• Liverpool South East DO (L13, L15 and L16)
• Southend on Sea DO (SS0 to SS4, SS9 and SS22)
