Royal Mail have advised that not all mail was processed to schedule at several of its Mail Processing Centres yesterday. Customers should expect delays to deliveries in the following postcode areas:
- Chester Mail Centre: Some mail posted in the CH, LL and SY postcode areas yesterday for delivery today in other parts of the UK.
- South Midlands Mail Centre: Both inbound (some mail posted in other parts of the UK for delivery today in the CV, LE, MK and NN postcode areas) and outbound (some mail posted in the CV, LE, MK and NN postcode areas for delivery in other parts of the UK).
- Peterborough Mail Centre: Both inbound (some mail posted in other parts of the UK for delivery today in the CB and PE postcode areas) and outbound (some mail posted in the CB and PE postcode areas for delivery in other parts of the UK).
- Sheffield Mail Centre Some mail posted yesterday in other parts of the UK for delivery today in the DN, HU, LN and S postcode areas.
- Swindon Mail Centre Both inbound (some mail posted in other parts of the UK for delivery today in the OX, RG and SN postcode areas) and outbound (some mail posted in the OX, RG and SN postcode areas for delivery in other parts of the UK).
- Exeter Mail Centre: Some mail posted yesterday in other parts of the UK for delivery today in the EX and TQ postcode areas.
- Croydon Mail Centre: Some mail posted yesterday in other parts of the UK for delivery today in the BR, CR, SE and SM postcode areas.
- Nottingham Mail Centre: Some mail posted in the DE and NG postcode areas yesterday for delivery today in other parts of the UK.
