Royal Mail have advised that not all mail was processed to schedule yesterday at its Northern Ireland and Southampton Mail Processing Centres. Customers should expect delays in the following postcode areas:
- Northern Ireland Mail Centre: Some mail posted in other parts of the UK, due for delivery today in the BT postcode area.
- Southampton Mail Centre: Some mail posted in the PO, SO and SP postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.
In addition to the above Royal Mail have advised that several areas are currently experiencing delays to deliveries due to local issues such as COVID-related self-isolation, high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors. The following areas are currently affected:
- Amesbury (SP3 and SP4)
- Clevedon DO (BS21)
- Didcot DO (OX11)
- Portslade (BN41 and BN42)
- Pulborough (RH20)
- Stevenage DO (SG1, SG2 and SG3)
- Yatton DO (BS49)
