Royal Mail have advised that not all mail was processed to schedule yesterday at several of its Mail Processing Centres. The following areas are currently subject to delays:

  • Nottingham: Some mail posted in the DE and NG postcode areas, due for delivery in other parts of the UK.
  • Preston:  Some mail posted in the BB, FY, LA and PR postcode areas, due for delivery in other parts of the UK.
  • South Midlands: Some mail posted in the CV, LE, MK and NN postcode areas, due for delivery in other parts of the UK.

In addition to the above there are currently delays to deliveries in the following areas due to due to local issues such as high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors:

  • Ware DO (SG9 to SG12)
  • Westhill DO (AB13, AB14 and AB32)

  • Bristol: Some mail posted in the BA, BS, GL and TA postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.

  • Croydon: Some mail posted in the BR, CR, SE and SM postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.

  • Preston: Some mail posted in the BB, FY, LA and PR postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.

  • Northern Ireland: Some mail posted in other parts of the UK, due for delivery today in the BT postcode area.
