Royal Mail have advised that not all mail was processed to  schedule yesterday at the Preston Mail Processing Centre. Customers should expect delays in the following areas:

  • Preston: Some mail posted in the BB, FY, LA and PR postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.

Royal Mail have also advised that mail in the following areas in delayed due to local issues such as high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors. The following postcodes are currently subject to delays:

  • Abercarn DO (NP11)
  • Blofield SPDO (NR13)
  • Heathfield DO (TN21)
  • Keighley DO (BD20, BD21 and BD22)
  • Sittingbourne DO (ME9 and ME10)
