Royal Mail have made some amendments to their terms and conditions to cover mail sent during the Olympic Games. this is due to some additional transport and travel restrictions that are in place during the games. During this time any Special Delivery items should still arrive on the next working day, however, they are not guaranteed by 1pm in certain areas for the duration of the games. Postcodes affected are E, EC, N, NW, SE, SW, W and WC. Special Delivery items for the rest of the UK remain unaffected and are still guaranteed for next day delivery by 1pm as normal.

Customers living in London may also receive their post earlier or later in the day, in order to work around transport restrictions. There may also be some delays to services in local areas as the Olympic torch relay passes through them. You can check what's happening every day on the Royal Mail website at the following link.

We have completed our development and testing on the next version of the Write Letter interface and would love to get some feedback on the new interface. The new interface includes a lot of new functionality which you've asked for, and in the coming months we will start adding more.

To see what's on offer, please visit the following link  https://www.pc2paper.co.uk/writeletter2intro.asp (you will need to be logged in for the link to work). Give it a go and let us know what you think.

The United States Postal Service reports that due to the storms that passed through the East coast June 29 and 30, several USPS facilities are experiencing power outages, downed trees, and downed power lines. Power has been restored at all major plants in the affected areas and these plants are now in recovery mode. Some post office stations remain without power. A full list of additional impacts for the states of New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia and West Virginia, can be found posted under "Current Updates" on the Mail Service Update webpage. Customers using our US printing station should allow extra time for delivery until these problems have been resolved.
