Royal Mail has advised that not all mail was processed to schedule yesterday at its South Midlands Mail Processing Centre. Customers should expect delays in the following areas:

• South Midlands: Some mail posted in other parts of the UK, due for delivery today in the CV, LE, MK and NN postcode areas.

• Gatwick: Some mail posted in the BN and RH postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.

We are currently seeing delays in mail posted to Scotland and Northern Ireland due to heavy snowfall. The following areas are currently affected:

• Northern Ireland
• Edinburgh
• Tyneside
• Glasgow
• Aberdeen
• Sheffield
• Inverness

Customers should expect deliveries to be delayed.

Customers should expect delays in the following areas:

• Sheffield: Some mail posted yesterday in the DN, HU, LN and S postcode areas, for delivery today in other parts of the UK.
• Northern Ireland: Some mail posted yesterday in the BT postcode area, for delivery today in other parts of the UK.

Royal Mail Tracked 24® services in some parts of the UK are affected as a result of snow disrupting the network. Some Royal Mail Tracked 24® items being processed at the mail centres listed below may be delivered later than planned:
