PC2Paper will be closed from the 24th December to the 28th of December for the Christmas holiday. Any mail sent after our 1pm cut-off for tracked mail and 3pm for all other mail on the 23rd of December will be sent on the next available working day which is Tuesday the 29th of December. All mail submitted whilst we are closed will be queued in the system and can be cancelled if requested.

We are closed from the 31st of December to the 1st of January for the New Years Holiday. Any mail sent after our 1pm cut-off for tracked mail and 3pm for all other mail on the 31st of December will be sent on the next available working day which is Monday the 4th of January.

We have made the decision to remove the Special Delivery service as Royal Mail are not currently guaranteeing a next day service. We feel that we cannot post items with this service until the service is back to normal and is once again offering next day delivery.

Royal Mail have advised that they have suspended their Special Delivery Guarantee for items posted from the 23rd of December. Whilst these items will still be given priority they can no longer be guaranteed on a next day service. This is due to staffing issues and complications caused by Covid-19.

We are still posting mail as normal but are aware of delays at the Medway Processing Centre through which all of our outgoing mail has to pass before being delivered. Last night a vehicle travelling from the Medway Mail Centre to Daventry arrived late, this will cause delays to mail posted yesterday. In addition to this the Medway Mail Processing Centre is currently experiencing delays due to staffing issues and increased volumes of mail. We would expect mail delivery to take longer than normal at this time.

Royal Mail have advised that vehicles headed for the Princess Royal Distribution Centre from Swansea and Swindon suffered breakdowns last night. This has caused the late arrival of mail causing it to miss onward connections. As a result mail due for delivery in London and the South East of England may arrive later than usual.

Royal Mail has said that delays to deliveries are down to an exceptionally large volume of post. According to this article some items of mail are arriving weeks after they have been posted with 1st class mail taking 7 days or more in many areas.

We are aware of delays to mail bound for Ireland. Currently mail for Ireland is leaving the UK as normal but is being delayed in the Republic of Ireland. This is due to high volumes of mail being processed and Covid restrictions being in place. Customers should expect mail to this destination to take longer than normal to arrive.

PC2Paper will be closed from the 24th December to the 28th of December for the Christmas holiday. Any mail sent after our 1pm cut-off for tracked mail and 3pm for all other mail on the 23rd of December will be sent on the next available working day which is Tuesday the 29th of December. All mail submitted whilst we are closed will be queued in the system and can be cancelled if requested.

We are closed from the 31st of December to the 1st of January for the New Years Holiday. Any mail sent after our 1pm cut-off for tracked mail and 3pm for all other mail on the 31st of December will be sent on the next available working day which is Monday the 4th of January.

Royal Mail have announced that they will increase postage prices from the 1st of January 2021. The price of a 1st class stamp will rise by 9p whilst 2nd class will increase by 1p. Prices for international service are also set to increase. PC2Paper will be increasing our postage prices in line with the Royal Mail increase from close of business on 31st of December 2020.
