Royal Mail have advised that several of its Mail Processing Centres did not process all mail to schedule yesterday. Customers should expect delays in the following areas:

• Cardiff Mail Centre: Some mail posted in other parts of the UK for delivery in the CF, LD and NP postcode areas.
• Birmingham Mail Centre Some mail posted in the B, HR and WR postcode areas for delivery in other parts of the UK.
• Chelmsford Mail Centre Some mail posted in the CM, CO, IP and SS postcode areas for delivery in other parts of the UK.
• Dorset Mail Centre Some mail posted in the BH and DT postcode areas for delivery in other parts of the UK.v
• Gatwick Mail Centre Some mail posted in the BN and RH postcode areas for delivery in other parts of the UK.
• Northern Ireland Mail Centre Some mail posted in the BT postcode area for delivery in other parts of the UK.

The Communication Workers Union (CWU) has formally notified Royal Mail they plan to call on their members who collect, sort and deliver parcels and letters to take national strike action on Wednesday 30 November and Thursday 1 December 2022. During this time there will no mail service operating. PC2Paper will continue to process all mail as normal for collection on Friday the 2nd of December when services return to normal.

No mail will received on strike days for our mailbox customers as Royal Mail will not bee carrying out deliveries. We would expect delays to all incoming and outgoing mail as a result of strike action.

PC2Paper will be suspending all tracked service in the lead up and during strike action, as we are unable to guarantee delivery times for these.

Royal Mail workers are to hold a further postal strike on the 24th and 25th of November. During this time we will continue to process all mail as normal, however, we regret that no mail will be collected from us until the service returns to normal on Monday the 28th of November.

During this time we will be suspending all tracked services as we cannot guarantee delivery times during strike action.
