Royal Mail have advised that not all item were processed to schedule yesterday at its Warrington, Manchester and Preston Mail Processing Centres. Customers should expect delays in the following areas:

• Warrington Mail Centre: Some mail posted on Tuesday for delivery in the CW, L, WA, and WN postcode areas may be delivered later than expected.
• Manchester Mail Centre: Some mail posted on Tuesday in the BL, M, OL and SK postcode areas for delivery throughout the rest of the UK may be delivered later than expected.
• Preston Mail Centre: Some mail posted on Tuesday in the BB, FY, LA and PR postcode areas for delivery throughout the rest of the UK may be delivered later than expected.

In addition to the above there are currently delays to deliveries in some areas due to local issues such as COVID-related self-isolation, high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors. The following areas are currently affected:

• Didcot DO (OX11)
• Grays DO (RM16, RM17, RM18, RM19 and RM20)
• Stevenage DO (SG1, SG2 and SG3)
