Capacity issues at the Royal Mail Yorkshire Distribution Centre have meant that not all mail was able to travel on the scheduled service to Tyneside last night. As a result come mail posted in the DH, DL, NE, SR and TS postcode areas may arrive later than planned.

Royal Mail have advised that a vehicle from Chester Mail Centre arrived late last night. This will mean that some mail posted in the CH, LL and SY postcode areas yesterday will be subject to delays.

Mail travelling from the Medway Mail Centre into London's Royal Distribution Centre last night has been delayed due to road closures on route. This has caused some mail to miss the connection with the scheduled outbound service. Customers should expect delays to mail posted in the CT, DA, ME and TN postcode areas yesterday to arrive later than normal. This may affect mail sent by PC2Paper which could take longer than normal to arrive.
