Royal Mail have advised that mail processed at Leeds, Plymouth and Southampton is likely to be subject to delays. This is dues to staffing issues caused by self-isolating and social distancing along with increased parcel volumes.
The following postcodes are affected:
- Leeds: Some letters and parcels posted on Wednesday across the UK, due for delivery today to addresses in the BD, HD, HG, HX, LS, WF and YO postcode areas.
- Plymouth: Some letters and parcels posted on Wednesday in the PL postcode area, due for delivery today to addresses across the rest of the UK.
- Southampton: Some letters and parcels posted on Wednesday in the PO, SO and SP postcode areas, due for delivery today to addresses across the rest of the UK.
Customer should expecet mail to take longer than normal to arrive in these areas.
