Royal Mail has advised that not all mail was processed to schedule yesterday at its Bristol and Preston Mail Centres. Customers should expect delays in the following areas:

• Bristol: Some mail posted yesterday in the BA, BS, GL and TA postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.
• Preston: Some mail posted yesterday in the BB, FY, LA and PR postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.

Royal Mail has also reported delivery delays in the following areas:

• Aberdare DO (CF44 and CF45)
• Batley DO (WF5, WF15, WF16 and WF17)
• Bicester DO (OX25, OX26, and OX27)
• Bristol East Central DO (BS1 and BS2)
• Camberley DO (GU15, GU16 and GU17)
• Chingford DO (E4)
• Looe DO (PL13)
• Mill Hill DO (NW7)
• Oxford East DO (OX3, OX4, OX33, OX44 and OX49)
• Whitwood DO (WF6 and WF10)
