Royal Mail have advised that several of its Mail Processing Centres did not process all mail to schedule yesterday. This will cause delays in the following areas:
- Carlisle: Some mail posted in the CA and DG postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.
- Greenford: Some mail posted in the BFPO, HA, NW, SL, UB and W2-14 postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.
- Gatwick: Some mail posted in the BN and RH postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.
- Plymouth: Some mail posted in other parts of the UK, due for delivery today in the PL postcode area.
- South Midlands: Some mail posted in the CV, LE, MK and NN postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.
In addition to this several the following areas are currently experiencing delivery delays due to local issues such as high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors.
- Blagdon SUDO (BS40)
- Kingswood DO (BS15 and BS30)
- Saxmundham DO (IP17)
