Royal Mail have advised that not all mail was processed to schedule yesterday at several of its Mail Processing Centres.
This is likely to cause delays to any mail sent via PC2Paper from the 29th of September through to Tuesday the 4th of October, as all of our mail has to pass through the Medway Processing Centre. We would expect items of mail to take longer than to arrive at this time.
The following areas are currently affected:
- Chester Mail Centre: Some mail posted yesterday in other parts of the UK, due for delivery today in CH, LL and SY postcode areas.
- Sheffield Mail Centre: Some mail posted yesterday in other parts of the UK, due for delivery today in DN, HU, LN, and the S postcode areas.
- Leeds Mail Centre: Some mail posted in BD, HD, HG, HX, LS, WF and YO postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.
- Northern Ireland Mail Centre: Some mail posted in the BT postcode area, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.
- Nottingham Mail Centre: Some mail posted in DE and NG postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.
- South Midlands Mail Centre: Some mail posted in CV, LE, MK and NN postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.
- Swindon Mail Centre: Some mail posted in OX, RG and SN postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.
- Medway Mail Centre: Some mail posted in other parts of the UK yesterday, due for delivery today to addresses in CT, DA, ME and TN postcode areas and some mail posted yesterday in CT, DA, ME and TN postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.
