Royal Mail has advised that not all mail was processed to schedule yesterday at its Exeter and Preston Mail Processing Centres. Customer should expect delays in the following areas:

• Exeter Mail Centre: Some mail posted across other parts of the UK, for delivery in the EX and TQ postcode areas.
• Preston Mail Centre: Some mail posted in parts of the BB, FY, LA and PR postcode areas, for delivery across other parts of the UK.

Royal Mail has also reported delays to deliveries in the following areas:

• Bicester DO (OX25, OX26 and OX27)
• Heathfield DO (TN21)
