Royal Mail have advised that not all mail was processed to schedule yesterday at its Swindon Mail Processing Centres. Customers should expect delays to mail in the following areas:

• Swindon Central Mail Centre: Some mail posted yesterday in the OX, RG and SN postcode areas for delivery today in other parts of the UK.

In addition to the above there are currently delivery delays in some areas due to local issues such as COVID-related self-isolation, high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors. The following areas are currently affected:

• Clevedon DO (BS21)
• Didcot DO (OX11)
• Monmouth DO (NP25)
• Portslade DO (BN41 and BN42)
• Yatton DO (BS49)
