Royal Mail has advised that not all mail was processed to schedule yesterday at its Tyneside Mail Centre. Customers should expect delays in the following areas:

• Tyneside Mail Centre: Some mail posted in parts of the DH, DL, NE, SR and TS postcode areas, for delivery across other parts of the UK.
