Royal Mail have advised that not all mail was processed to schedule at its Chester and Edinburgh Mail Processing Centres yesterday. This is likely to cause delays in the following postcode areas:

• Chester Mail Centre: Some mail posted over the weekend in other parts of the UK, due for delivery today to addresses in the CH, LL and SY postcode areas.
• Edinburgh Mail Centre: Some mail posted over the weekend in the DD, EH, FK, KY, PH and TD postcode areas, due for delivery today to addresses across the rest of the UK.
