Royal Mail have advised that not all mail was processed to schedule yesterday at its Northern Ireland and Preston Mail Processing Centres. Customers should expect delays in the following areas:
- Northern Ireland Mail Centre: Some mail posted on Thursday from across the rest of the UK, due for delivery today to addresses in the BT postcode areas, may arrive later than expected.
- Preston Mail Centre: Some mail posted on Thursday in the BB, FY, LA and PR postcode areas, due for delivery today to addresses across the rest of the UK.
In addition to the above Royal Mail are currently experiencing delays to mail in the South Ockendon (RM15) postcode area.
