Royal Mail has advised that not all mail was processed to schedule yesterday at its Peterborough Mail Processing Centre. Customer should expect delays to mail in the following areas:

• Peterborough: Some mail posted yesterday in other parts of the UK, due for delivery today in the CB and PE postcode areas.

Royal Mail has also reported delivery delays in the following areas dude to local issues such as high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors:

• Accrington DO (BB5)
• Canterbury DO (CT1, CT2, CT3, CT4, CT5 and CT6)
• Gosport DO (PO12 and PO13)
• Waterlooville DO (PO7 and PO8)
