We are still seeing long delays to mail in most areas due to the backlog caused by the recent strike actions. Customers should expect items to take longer than normal to arrive.

In addition to the above Royal Mail has advised that the following Mail Centres did not process all mail to schedule yesterday and customers should expect delays in the following areas:

• Chester Mail Centre: Some mail posted in other parts of the UK, due for delivery today in the CH, LL and SY postcode areas.
• Northern Ireland Mail Centre: Some mail posted in other parts of the UK, due for delivery today in the BT postcode area.
• Cardiff Mail Centre: Some mail posted in the CF, LD and NP postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.
• Medway Mail Centre: Some mail posted in the CT, DA, ME and TN postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.
