Royal Mail have advised that not all mail was processed to schedule yesterday at its Bristol and Chester Mail Processing Centres. Customers should expect delays in the following postcode areas:
- Bristol Mail Centre: Some mail posted yesterday in the BA, BS, GL and TA postcode areas, for delivery today in other parts of the UK.
- Chester Mail Centre: Some mail posted in other parts of the UK yesterday, for delivery today in the CH, LL, SY postcode areas.
In addition to the above there are also delays to deliveries in the following postcode areas due to local issues such as COVID-related self isolation, high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors:
- Chulmleigh DO (EX18)
- Hanwell DO (W7)
- Liverpool South East DO (L13, L15 and L16)
- Southend on Sea DO (SS0 to SS4, SS9 and SS22)
