Royal Mail have advised that not all mail was processed to schedule yesterday at its Medway Mail Processing Centre. Customers should be aware that all of our outgoing mail has to pass through this mail centre before being delivered so is likely to be subject to delays.

In addition to the above Royal Mail has reported delays in the following areas:

  • Northern Ireland Mail Centre: Some mail posted in other parts of the UK yesterday for delivery today in the BT postcode area.
  • South Midlands Mail Centre: Some mail posted in the CV, LE, MK and NN postcode areas yesterday for delivery today in other parts of the UK.
  • Chester Mail Centre to NDC: Some mail posted in the CH, LL and SY postcode areas yesterday for delivery today in parts of the South East, Anglia, London, South of England and South Wales may arrive later than expected.
  • Manchester Mail Centre to NDC: Some mail posted in the BL, M, OL and SK postcode areas yesterday for delivery today in parts of the South East, Anglia, South of England, London and South Wales may arrive later than anticipated.
  • North West Super Hub to NDC: A small amount of mail posted in the North West of England for delivery today in parts of the South of England and Anglia may arrive slightly behind schedule.
  • Preston Mail Centre to NDC: Some mail posted yesterday in the BB, FY, LA and PR postcode areas for delivery today in parts of the South East, South of England, London, Anglia and South Wales may arrive later than planned.
  • Warrington Mail Centre to NDC: Some mail posted yesterday in the CW, L, WA and WN postcode areas for delivery today in parts of the South East, South of England, London, Anglia and South Wales may arrive later than expected.
