Royal Mail have advised that not all mail was processed to schedule yesterday at its Bristol, London, Central and Manchester Mail Processing Centres. Customers should expect delays to mail in the following postcode areas:

  • Bristol Mail Centre: Some mail posted yesterday in the BA, BS, GL and TA postcode areas, due for delivery today to addresses across the rest of the UK.
  • London Central Mail Centre: Some mail posted yesterday in the EC, N, W1 and WC postcode areas, due for delivery today to addresses across the rest of the UK.
  • Manchester Mail Centre: Some mail posted yesterday in the BL, M, OL and SK postcode areas, due for delivery today to addresses across the rest of the UK.

Royal Mail have also advised that there are delivery delays in some areas due to local issues such as COVID-related self isolation, high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors. Customers should delays in the following areas:

  • Canvey Island (SS8)
  • Erskine (PA7 and PA8)
  • Muswell Hill DO (N10)
  • Rayleigh (SS6)
  • Southend-on-Sea DO (SS0 to SS4, SS9 and SS22)
  • Yatton DO (BS49 4&5)
