Royal Mail has advised that not all mail was processed to schedule yesterday at its Cardiff and Swansea Mail Processing Centres. Customers should expect delays in the following areas:

• Cardiff Mail Centre: Some mail posted in parts of the CF, LD and NP postcode areas, due for delivery across other parts of the UK.
• Swansea Mail Centre: Some mail posted in parts of the SA postcode area, due for delivery across other parts of the UK.

Delays to deliveries have also been reported in the following areas due to local issues such as high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors:

• Banstead DO (SM7)
• Uckfield DO (TN20 and TN22)
