Royal Mail have advised that mail processing centres in Cardiff, Preston and Swindon are currently experiencing delays caused by staffing issues due to self isolating and social distancing and increased parcel volumes. The following postcodes are currently affected and customers should expect delays to deliveries in these areas:
- Cardiff: Some mail posted in other parts of the UK yesterday, due for delivery today in the CF, LD and NP postcode areas.
- Preston Some mail posted in other parts of the UK yesterday, due for delivery today in the BB, FY, LA and PR postcode areas.
- Swindon: Some mail posted in other parts of the UK yesterday, due for delivery today in the OX, RG and SN postcode areas.
