Royal Mail have advised that not all mail was processed to schedule yesterday at its South Midlands and London Central Mail Processing Centres. Customers should expect delays in the following postcode areas:

• South Midlands Mail Centre: Some mail posted in the CV, LE, MK and NN postcode areas yesterday, due for delivery today to addresses across the rest of the UK.
• London Central Mail Centre: Some mail posted in the EC, N, W1 and WC postcode areas yesterday, due for delivery today to addresses across the rest of the UK.

Royal Mail have advised that several of its Mail Processing Centres did not process all mail to schedule yesterday. This is likely to cause delays in the following postcode areas:

• Northern Ireland Mail Centre: Some mail posted posted across the rest of the UK yesterday, due for delivery today in the BT postcode area.
• Swansea Mail Centre: Some mail posted in the SA postcode area yesterday, due for delivery today to addresses across the rest of the UK.

Royal Mail have advised that not all mail was processed to schedule yesterday at its Preston Mail Centre. This is likely to cause delays in the BB, FY, LA and PR postcode areas.

The COP26 climate conference is taking place in Glasgow from 31 October to 12 November. Deliveries and collections for some customers living in the area of the conference may be affected between 23 October and 13 November due to road closures and security measures.
