Royal Mail have advised that not all mail was processed to schedule yesterday at is Jubilee and Northern Ireland Mail Processing Centres. Customers should expect delays in the following areas:

  • Jubilee Mail Centre: Some mail posted in parts of the GU, KT, SW and TW postcode areas, due for delivery across other parts of the UK.
  • Northern Ireland Mail Centre: Some mail posted across other parts of the parts of the UK, due for delivery in the BT postcode area.

Royal Mail have advised that not all mail was processed to schedule yesterday at its Preston and Sheffield Mail Processing Centres. Customers should expect delays to mail in the following areas:

  • Preston Mail Centre: Some mail posted in the BB, FY, LA and PR postcode areas, due for delivery across other parts of the UK.
  • Sheffield Mail Centre: Some mail posted in the DN, HU, LN and S postcode areas, due for delivery across other parts of the UK.

In addition to the above there are also some delays to deliveries in the following areas caused by local issues such as high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors:

  • Bristol South DO (BS13, BS3 and BS41)
  • Cardiff West DO (CF5)
  • Chew Stoke SUDO (BS39 and BS40)
  • Chulmleigh SPDO (EX18)

Monday the 29th of May is a Bank Holiday in the UK. There are no Royal Mail deliveries or collections operating on this day. Any mail received after out 1pm cut-off time for tracked mail and 3pm for all other mail on Friday the 26th of May will be queued in the system and processed when we reopen on Tuesday the 30th of May. PC2paper is closed on Monday the 29th of May for the Bank Holiday.
