Royal Mail has advised not all mail was processed to schedule at some of its Mail Centres yesterday. Customer should expect delays in the following areas:

• Chelmsford: Some mail posted yesterday in the CM, CO, IP and SS postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.
• South Midlands: Some mail posted yesterday in the CV, LE, MK and NN postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.

Last night, high winds delayed the journey of some mail travelling from East Midlands airport to Belfast airport. As a result, some items posted yesterday in the Midlands, southwest and north of England, and Wales, due for delivery today in Northern Ireland, may arrive later than expected.

Royal Mail has advised that last night, technical issues delayed the departure of a vehicle travelling from our Midlands Hub to the Glasgow Mail Centre. As a result, some mail posted yesterday in other parts of the UK, due for delivery today in the G postcode areas, may arrive later than expected.
