Royal Mail workers will be on strike on Thursday the 8th and Friday the 9th of September. During this time there will be no mail delivery or mail collections. We will continue to process all mail as normal, however no mail will enter the postal system until normal service resumes on Monday the 12th of September.

We will also be removing the Special Delivery service during this time as we cannot next day delivery during the postal strikes.

In addition to the above as we will not receive a mail delivery, no mail will received for our mailbox customers during this time.

Customers should expect delays in the week after the strikes as Royal Mail workers work to clear the backlog.

We are currently experiencing delays to all mail due to the recent strike action. Customers should allow extra time for mail to arrive for items posted in the run up, during and after strike days as these items are likely to be subject to delay.

We would like to remind customers that due to the upcoming postal strike on Friday the 26th of August there will be no mail deliveries or collections after close of business today (Thursday the 25th of August). We will still continue to process any letters received in the system but these will not be collected by Royal Mail until they resume working on Tuesday the 30th of August.

Due to the strike we will receive no mail deliveries during this time. Mailbox customers should expect delays received mail.

As we cannot guarantee delivery times of tracked services during the Royal Mail postal strikes, we will be withdrawing all tracked services during the strike action.

We have also been informed by Royal Mail that they have amended their terms and conditions for this period. From Thursday the 25th August and 1st of September, customers will not be able to claim any compensation for items that are delayed due to the knock on effect of strike action.
