Royal Mail have advised that not all mail was processed to schedule yesterday at several of its Mail Processing Centres. The following areas are currently affected:

  • Cardiff Mail Centre: Some mail posted yesterday in other parts of the UK, due for delivery today in the CF, LD and NP postcode areas.
  • Exeter Mail Centre: Some mail posted yesterday in other parts of the UK, due for delivery today in the EX and TQ postcode areas.
  • Leeds Mail Centre: Some mail posted yesterday in other parts of the UK, due for delivery today in the BD, HD, HG, HX, LS, WF and YO postcode areas.
  • Medway Mail Centre: Some mail posted yesterday in other parts of the UK, due for delivery today in the CT, DA, ME and TN postcode areas.
  • Southampton Mail Centre: Some mail posted yesterday in other parts of the UK, due for delivery today in the PO, SO and SP postcode areas.
  • South Midlands Mail Centre: Some mail posted yesterday in other parts of the UK, due for delivery today in the CV, LE, MK and NN postcode areas.
  • Swindon Mail Centre: Some mail posted yesterday in other parts of the UK, due for delivery today in the OX, RG and SN postcode areas.
  • Warrington Mail Centre: Some mail posted yesterday in other parts of the UK, due for delivery today in the CW, L, WA and WN postcode areas.
  • Manchester Mail Centre: Some mail posted in BL, M, OL and SK postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.
  • Tyneside Mail Centre: Some mail posted in the DH, DL, NE, SR and TS postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.

Customers should be aware that all of our outgoing mail has to pass through the Medway Processing Centre so is likely to be directly affected by this delay.

Royal Mail have advised that not all mail was processed to schedule yesterday at several of its Mail Processing Centres.

This is likely to cause delays to any mail sent via PC2Paper from the 29th of September through to Tuesday the 4th of October, as all of our mail has to pass through the Medway Processing Centre. We would expect items of mail to take longer than to arrive at this time.

The following areas are currently affected:

  • Chester Mail Centre: Some mail posted yesterday in other parts of the UK, due for delivery today in CH, LL and SY postcode areas.
  • Sheffield Mail Centre: Some mail posted yesterday in other parts of the UK, due for delivery today in DN, HU, LN, and the S postcode areas.
  • Leeds Mail Centre: Some mail posted in BD, HD, HG, HX, LS, WF and YO postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.
  • Northern Ireland Mail Centre: Some mail posted in the BT postcode area, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.
  • Nottingham Mail Centre: Some mail posted in DE and NG postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.
  • South Midlands Mail Centre: Some mail posted in CV, LE, MK and NN postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.
  • Swindon Mail Centre: Some mail posted in OX, RG and SN postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.
  • Medway Mail Centre: Some mail posted in other parts of the UK yesterday, due for delivery today to addresses in CT, DA, ME and TN postcode areas and some mail posted yesterday in CT, DA, ME and TN postcode areas, due for delivery today in other parts of the UK.

This is likely to cause delays to any mail sent via PC2Paper from the 29th of September through to Tuesday the 4th of October, as all of our mail has to pass through the Medway Processing Centre. We would expect items of mail to take longer than to arrive at this time.

We are currently seeing delays across the Royal Mail network due to the backlog of mail caused by strike action. Customers should be aware that mail is currently taking considerably longer to arrive.

There are currently no Royal Mail deliveries or collections taking place due to Royal Mail strike action. PC2Paper will continue to process all received mail, however, no mail will enter the postal system until collections resume on Monday the 3rd of October.

All tracked services have been suspended during the strike as we are unable to guarantee delivery times for these.

Royal Mail workers will be staging further strike action on Friday the 30th of September and Saturday the 1st of October. During this time there will be no Royal Mail deliveries or collections.

PC2Paper will continue to process all mail for collection but no mail will be collected from us on Friday the 30th of September. All Mail received after our 1pm cut-off time for tracked items and 3pm for all other items on Thursday the 29th of September will be collected on Monday the 3rd of October when normal collections resume.

During the strike we will be removing all tracked service as we cannot guarantee delivery times. Customers should also be aware that the strike action will mean considerable delays to mail posted before and after the strikes.

Royal Mail have advised that not all mail was processed to schedule at some of its Mail Processing Centres yesterday. Customers should expect delays in the following area:

  • Croydon Mail Centre: Some mail posted yesterday in parts of the BR, CR, SE and SM postcode areas, due for delivery today to addresses across the rest of the UK.
  • Gatwick Mail Centre: Some mail posted yesterday in parts of the BN and RH postcode areas, due for delivery today to addresses across the rest of the UK.
  • Northern Ireland Mail Centre: Some mail posted yesterday across the UK, due for delivery today to addresses in the BT postcode area.
  • Swindon Mail Centre: Some mail posted yesterday in parts of the OX, RG and SN postcode areas, due for delivery today to addresses across the rest of the UK.

Royal Mail have also advised that the following areas are currently experiencing delays to deliveries caused by such as high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors:

  • Amersham DO (HP6, HP7 and HP8)
  • Carterton DO (OX18 1-4)
  • Herne Hill DO (SE24)
  • Kidlington DO (OX5 and OX20)
  • Ongar DO (CM5)

In addition to the above we are still seeing long delays to mail in all areas due to the backlog caused by the recent postal strikes. Customers should expect the delivery pf mail to take longer than usual at this time.
