Customers should expect delivery to take longer than normal

Royal Mail have advised that there are delays at some its Mail Processing Centres. One of the Centres affected is Medway, through which all of our outgoing mail is processed. We would expect our outgoing mail to be subject to delays once it reaches the Medway Processing Centre and customers should expect delivery to take longer than normal.

The following areas are also subject to delays:

  • Chester Mail Centre: Some mail posted in other parts of the UK on Monday, due for delivery today to addresses in the CH, LL and SY postcode areas. Also, some mail posted on Monday in these postcode areas, due for delivery today to addresses across the rest of the UK.
  • Leeds Mail Centre: Some mail posted in other parts of the UK on Monday, due for delivery today to addresses in the BD, HD, HG, HX, LS, WF and YO postcode areas. Also, some mail posted on Monday in these postcode areas, due for delivery today to addresses across the rest of the UK.
  • London Central Mail Centre: Some mail posted in other parts of the UK on Monday, due for delivery today to addresses in the EC, N, W1 and WC postcode areas. Also, some mail posted on Monday in these postcode areas, due for delivery today to addresses across the rest of the UK.

Royal Mail has suspended its service to most European destination until further notice. Any mail received for Europe will be processed as normal and Royal Mail will hold it securely for posting once services return to normal. Customers should expect delays to all European Mail.

PC2Paper will be closed on New Years Eve and New Years Day. All letters sent after our 1pm cut-off time for tracked mail and 3pm for all other services on the 30th of December will be queued in the system and processed on the next working day which is Monday the 4th of January. Cancellation can be requested by logging into your account if required.

PC2Paper will be closed from the 24th December to the 28th of December for the Christmas holiday. Any mail sent after our 1pm cut-off for tracked mail and 3pm for all other mail on the 23rd of December will be sent on the next available working day which is Tuesday the 29th of December. All mail submitted whilst we are closed will be queued in the system and can be cancelled if requested.

We are closed from the 31st of December to the 1st of January for the New Years Holiday. Any mail sent after our 1pm cut-off for tracked mail and 3pm for all other mail on the 31st of December will be sent on the next available working day which is Monday the 4th of January.

We have made the decision to remove the Special Delivery service as Royal Mail are not currently guaranteeing a next day service. We feel that we cannot post items with this service until the service is back to normal and is once again offering next day delivery.

Royal Mail have advised that they have suspended their Special Delivery Guarantee for items posted from the 23rd of December. Whilst these items will still be given priority they can no longer be guaranteed on a next day service. This is due to staffing issues and complications caused by Covid-19.
